INTRODUCTION

Seven Doctors practice from Westrop Surgery and our Branch Surgery in Blunsdon. We work with the support of a large team comprising Practice Nurses & attached clinical staff. Our Practice Manager heads our administrative and Reception staff.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our aim is to provide a comprehensive, friendly, professional and personal service with time to discuss our patients' health care concerns. We endeavour to make it easy for our patients to make an appointment with an appropriate health care professional.

We intend to be part of our local community and a centre of excellence in the provision of primary health care with in-house provision of a wide range of medical services.

We will provide this service by maintaining an efficient business in a supportive environment for all members of the health care team.

We will endeavour to achieve these goals whilst recognising the financial limitations of today's NHS.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Patients are assured that all consultations are held in strict confidence. The content of consultations will only be divulged to a third party with the patient's expressed consent. This includes the sharing of information with a relative/carer of the patient.

Any relative/carer wishing to discuss a patient with one of the GPs/Team needs to be aware this code of confidentiality must be abided by.

We will of course be more than happy to listen to a relative's concerns for a patient but without the above consent will be unable to discuss problems in detail.
